Bruin and New Family Photo

Post by Cafe_Latte »

Here's Bruin from RocketDog with Chewie (from Texas), Chow Fun and my son.
Life's a beach and then you go and play in the sand.

Great picture. I'm so glad Bruin found a good home!

What a nice fit-almost the same dynamics he was living in at Lou's, good fortune for a good transition. Mine love the beach, and it looks like yours do, too!

Ok, I admit I been a bit absent and some what delinquent in keeping everyone posted.

Bruin has become extremely well adjusted in our home and has made it his home too in the year he's been with us.
Have been able to break all his bad habits except one, the passion to chase bird, regardless if flying or not.

Summer '09, both Bruin and Chewie learned to swim while at Lake Tahoe, initially they were some what hesitant, but as the days got hotter the more they wanted to be in the water.

Chow Fun celebrated her 15th birthday back in Feb 2010 and is still doing good.
She's lost 40# over the past year which has help her hip dysplasia and continue to try to keep up with Bruin and Chewie, and most definitely refuses to be left out of the action or behind.

All three get along really well, the two younger ones continually check on Chow Fun knowing that she's the elder.
Bruin and Chewie are also affectionate towards one another too, though some of it looks like they're rough housing or dogfighting, but no one ever get hurt.

Hi Stacy,

It's a pleasure to see your pack all smiles and having fun. I'm tellin' ya, that Chow Fun will go missing one day and you'll have to look no farther for her than at MY house!

Thank you for giving Bruin his happy ending!

Hi Stacy,

I've been thinking about Bruin this entire week. You really are the PERFECT dad for Bruin and I am so happy he is thriving in your care and with your family. Maybe we'll see each other at ChowFest. It would be interesting to see how Tiggy and he respond to one another after all this time. Meanwhile, would you post a recent photo of him? It would be great to see him all grown up.
