Visiting my Dad on the Isle of Mull
I am just back from visiting my Dad on the Isle of Mull off the West coast of Scotland. I was going to take Isla and my daughter brought Thor but when they met up after not seeing each other since they were eight weeks they played 24/7 and I was not sure my 86 year old dad could cope with that so we took Thor and Izzie (his mom) instead.
First night...they were a bit unsure so far from home
Visit to Calgary bay and some paddling or in Izzie case swimming to America to visit some friends
Thor soon got into the mood and although it was freezing thoroughly enjoyed his paddle even if he wasn't as brave as mom
He did get in quite a mess with sand but it didn't show till I looked in the back of my car!
Both shattered at the end of a great day
Catching the early morning ferry was hard but the sunrise was beautiful

I want Thor! Such a good looking dog. Dogs love beaches don't they? They look like they had a great time.

So funny we were going to take Bella to the beach this weekend but other things took priority....next weekend we think, but the weather was so beautiful this weekend it probably won't last till next weekend..Looks like all had a great time!!!!!!

I would not be so brave with mine they would have on water wings.
I wonder if Sigmund Freud's patients were mostly Chow owners.
Try to figure them out; often won't go out in the rain or step in a puddle, but as you and others have shown us their curiosity over rides their fears; well sometimes.
Great looking dogs having a memorable time, thank you for sharing.

My gosh, you have just shown me a new place in the world that i want to visit...and if you could arrange to have the dogs there when i arrive, even better.

I'm sureI could arrange that Rory's dad it is parradise for shows there. Izzie flew me like a kite across the sand dunes and nearly wrenched my arms out their sockets!
I did think Izzie was heading to see you Nancy she waded out and out till I began to worry as she never usually even goes in the water if it can be avoided. She misses her aunty Nancy.
They did have a good time
