Hi,

Can anyone help me verify if our dog is a true Chowchow? She has no blue - black / purple tongue.

That is most certainly not a chow (although maybe it has some chow in it somewhere down the line); didn't you see parents, papers etc etc? Frankly - didnt you look at your puppy and realise that it looks nothing like a chow?

That is not a Chow or any other breed. Looks like a cute little mutt!

True, it is a blend. But a cute one. See if your pup has any dots of purple at all on her tongue. If so, these will likely grow bigger with time. Just love her, no matter what her breeds may be.

Maybe a far removed cousin of a Chow. I wonder if they would find Bear DNA in a Chows sample!
