Chuckys new name - feedback please

Post by jblake334 »

I want to get some feedback on Chucky's new name. She is at the vet, getting the works. She probably won't look to happy when I take her picture later. The names come from the theme "Damsel in Distress". The ones I didn't care for, I altered them to sound better, they will appear in parenthesis. I want people to vote. Also if anyone knows how to set up a donation fund let me know so I can retain half of my rights as owner. Then no one can adopt her without my ok.

Her are the choices for the new names for our "Damsel in Distress"

1.Sydney

2.Ann I didn't like so I altered it to Aneesa

3.Aneesa

4.Leia

5.Layla - I think I got this name from someone on this website

6.Rinoa

7.Daphne

8.Emily

What does she look like to you?

That is really good. Especially how weary she is and how she wont bite even when she's so scared. I think once she can stop being so afraid she will be such a lover. Loyal in the way she stayed waiting on the corner. THe meaning fits her perfectly.

I can't think of giving her to someone else. I want her, I wish I could take her.

Aneesa is good but it sounds to close to anesthesia to me, It might confuse a vet someday and that's not to hard to do so that could be dangerouse,

I've always liked Sydney.

I like Layla a lot. How are you saying Leia--like Leah or Lea the girls name. If so I like that too and I like the different way of spelling it.

Princess and Gracie--Your signature picture is great!

I vote for Leia. That's what one of my fellow dog walkers(a 80 year old lady) call LEO, as I pronounce her name as in LEGO w/o the G, or OLE, OLE, OLE.... :-oo

It was "The Perils of Pauline", actually. But Penelope (Penny) is cute. I like Daphne (Daf, Daffy), too. We've a Greek theme going with those two names.

I like Nell, too. She was the love interest of Dudley Dooright. She always got tied to the railroad trax and saved just in the nick.

And we can't forget Sweet Polly Purebred, damsel-in-distress and saved from misfortune every week by Underdog!!!

I like Leia very much. But I also like Layla and my paternal grandmother's second Christian name was Sydney.
But I like Leia best.
