Just as the specialist said, she was much better this morning. We drove down to her pooh site, done her business & back into the car before she decides to rest again. I know she is still hurting as she acts like not sure which foot to use, kinda bunny hops esp right after getting up from a lying down position. We went up to the ortho specialist, and because she's so revved up, she pull & trots much better. He was happy to see that, & told me to come back in 3wks time for a 3m/s post-op follow up X-ray. She's had her meal standing up this morning, like most dogs do. And as I was typing this, she jumps onto the couch to dig out a leftover bully stick she's hidden. I didn't even know it was there! So I ran to her to lift her down.... Oh, the things we willingly do for our babies!... She is now happily chewing on the bully stick on the dining room carpet Thank you very much for your concern. I was really panicing last evening. You guys really helped me calm down. Thank you

Oh that's great to hear, so glad she's doing better today. And by the way, don't feel bad about her injuring herself while playing. That's not your fault...Chows will be Chows.
