Calling all Angels: transport help needed.

Post by cherriemater »

We were rocked when we lost Kimba in June this year but there is hope for our broken hearts. We were contacted about Bella, who lives in Bridgeport, WV with her momma, Stacey. She has to find her a new home and has contaced us and we're so glad!!! We live in Northern Michigan, but can get down to Sterling Heights, MI. BellaChow (site member) lives in London, KY and has offered help with transport through Kentucky, if necessary. So ...

Is there anyone who lives between Detroit, MI and West Viriginia who is traveling either part or all the way who can help us bring Bella home??? We are trying to make this happen during the month of September/October.

Thank you in advance to all who can help or who call someone else who can help. We anxiously await your replies ...

I live in Cincinnati, OH. Depending on where exactly the transport is going to be coming through I may be able to help! I would figure probably shooting straight up I-75 right?

The link below is to Google maps with the route going through Western Pennsylvania and Northern Ohio.
6 hours 32 min, 385 miles.

The third route (I-75 S) goes west and goes through Columbus, Ohio
Just point at each route and it will highlight it for you.

Thanks AuddyMay, SirChow and Jeff&Vicki!!

Chica ... that might work if I can find someone to get Bella to you from Brigeport, WV. My friend who lives in Sterling Heights could, possibly, meet you in Lima, OH. Would that be too far??

Anyone traveling between Bridgeport, WV and Cincinnati, OH??? ((That could include Pittsburg, Morganstown))

That might be too far. I hadn't really mapped out where in West Virginia this would be starting : \

No problem, Chica. The more I think about it the easier it would be for Bella if she weren't passed from hand to hand too many times. It'll be hard enough on her to be relocated and re-familied. I'm going to keep hoping that, perhaps, someone is traveling through Bridgeport to Detroit.

For those of you following this thread, Stacey is also looking to place Bella in a loving home so if you're in her area and interested please contact her through the other thread she posted.

My goal (and Stacey's) is to get Bella into a good, loving home. She is already loved and we both want that to continue.
