Happy Birthday Mr. Nakohe!

The American flag is flying here for you in honour of your special day.

However, Fred would like it put on record that it IS for your birthday and not due to the fact that on 8th January, 1815, The American Army under General Jackson defeated The British at the Battle of New Orleans!!

So have a lovely day and we hope you have some delicious treats.

Can't say much for that Gen. Jackson but I'm sure he didn't have as good a birthday cake as we did. Mom made a yummy liverwurst and string cheese cake for us. A fun birthday today - I see there are more treats coming tonight

String cheese candles?! Oh, that is soooo cool! Mr. N, you are so lucky!!! We will make sure that Mommy gets us some string cheese candles for my anniversary in February (oh, this is Zhuyo). My baby sister, Pooh Bear, will be so excited. She had words with Mommy for not getting the right candles for my birthday cupcakes. You are lucky to have such a smart Mommy.

Shiloh, you are very beautiful! Pooh Bear says that you have grown to be a lovely chowlady.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY WEEK, MR. N!
(I hope your Mommy told you that you celebrate for a week, at least. If not, remind her.)

P.S. FYI, you can request the Golden Bear flag for your special day too. We like the Golden Bear flying high for our special days. But you can't have both the stars and stripes and the Golden Bear on the same pole because I have it on good authority that it is not proper.

Oh Dear, Mr. N.

We have a beautiful flag that Zhuyo and Pooh Bear sent for us to fly when it is their birthdays.

Our Mummy is so dim - she did not notice that you live in California too. Oh goodness us, she is so dim otherwise she would have asked our Daddy to hoist that one up instead 'cos he likes that one.
