Tinker's Parents have new baby.

First, Michelle and I wish to say a huge loving thank you to all in these forums. Especially those who were there to offer kind words as we grieved Tinker and continue to.

2 Thursdays ago, Michelle found a male chow needing a special rescue at Oakland SPCA. The website said he needed a "special family that knew chow-chows and would not leave him alone because he has separation issues. Uh, you guys know anyone like that?

His name is ZEN, he's a 3 year old purebread. It was love at first site and Michelle cried when she first saw him. We see so much of Tinker in him.

Our most sincere praise to the Oakland SPCA for what they do and how they run that facility. Special thanks to Sara. She took a special interest in ZEN. She's my new hero!

Check this out.....when we first inquired about adopting ZEN, we told them about how Tinker's Tales could be found on this website and she could review them as testement of our ability to "speak Chow". She did research here and checked us out. WE FINALIZE HIS ADOPTION THIS SATURDAY.

I now see how God's plan has come full circle and how the wonderful folks on this site were such a big part of His plan. How can we convey our gratitude?

absolutely wonderful.. I love the Tinker Tales. They made me smile, laugh and cry all at the same time.

Aw congratulations!! That is wonderful, wonderful news. Good luck on Saturday. Zen couldn't ask for better chowparents and you know Tinker helped work it out so you;d find each other. I agree with the others, Tinker Tales were so moving and I can't wait for Zen tales either.

I am so happy to hear that you will be adopting Zen. I have viewed his photo and information with that special "heart logo" on his Petfinder listing for quite some time now and am so greatful that the three of you will be a family!

ZEN is such a blessing!
He has made our house a home again. We still grieve Tinker and will let Zen be his own chow. But it's so good to "come home" again!
We WILL be in San Francisisco for Chow Fest!!!
Thank you for the invite and all the dedication to putting it together!
