Kuma's first visit to the vet (with us)

Post by kumathechow »

Today was Kuma's first time at the vet (with us). She was such a good girl, well actually she was hyper and loved everyone. She needs to work on her jumping and licking manners. We noticed Kuma had a little drainage on her left eye, turns out she has an ulcer. Not too big of a deal. Now we have to give her drops a few times a day. It took 3 vet techs to calm her down, she wasn't vicious, just happy to be in a new place, giving everyone purple kisses. They were all laughing about her being a chow that loves being at the vet. Kuma just likes strange places, that's going to get us in trouble.

Well just thank your lucky stars Kuma likes the vet's surgery. :)

M & M love going to the vet - they settle down in the waiting room and love watching the comings and goings then when it is our turn and the vet opens the door and calls "Milly and Mabel Fox", up they get and strut over all proud and pleased with themselves. :)

We have one vet and Milly adores him. She really does! He very rarely smiles - he is an excellent vet but is very dour - or would appear to be if you did not know him. But Milly will give him purple kisses under his chin when he is examining her! It is then the flicker of a smile will cross his face! He thinks M & M are gorgeous. Mabel seems to like him too and wags at him - he has a moustache and she sniffs it which also seems to amuse him - but the purple kisses under the chin! I wonder if he realises how rare they are from Milly Ching?

Good Girl Kuma. You show the world that chows do NOT deserve the bad reputation that they have gotten.
