A Prayer
Remembering Luna
1994-2006
One year ago July 22, 2006, 10:30 am, my first dog Luna chow went over the rainbow bridge. I can't explain what a dear companion, friend she was. To the neighbours, strangers she was just a wild dog. To those who knew us better appreciated her soft, kind demeanor. Luna could snarl, scare a large great Dane in the neighbourhood. Yet she was docile, quiet, considerate among the elderly, sick hospital patients we'd visit.
I was never afraid to ride public transit at midnight in the company of Luna. People knew this is a dog to respect, not to touch. I hope all is well in heaven with all the other furry critters keeping Luna company. A year later, good bye my friend.
