Kristen,
Very cute pictures.
I think that you have now gotten the hang of chow ownership!

I presume that the B and B let CinnBear stay there with you both? They really allow dogs...or should I say Chow Chow??

Yeah they do look a bit alike don't they? Cinnabear has normal tail though, Dreamdancer has a doughnut. Cinnabear is very handsome.

lol..........Thanks for all the comments  .....He is a big fur ball....Its cold where we are at now and i always make him cuddle with me to stay warm....hehe...But its funny i was going to ask you guys how your chow chows feel about laying on the bed??? I can put cinnbear up on the bed, and play with him, but as soon as i stop he jumps down, he sleeps on the floor~ I guess its a good thing. i just never had a dog like that....i dont know these chow's are a odd bunch...j/k

Our male Chow, Maximus, is the same way about the bed, and he has been since he was a puppy. I would put him up on the bed to cuddle with him, but as soon as I laid down he would jump down and sleep on the floor. He has always slept right outside our bedroom door. Sometimes I wake up to find him next to the bed on the floor, but never on the bed. It must be a Chow Chow thing.

Yep...it's a chow thing!
I think that a bed is just too warm for a chow....the floor apparently is much colder.
JR will lay on the bed for cuddles and snuggles...but when he is done...he is done....Of he goes to the floor.
He has slept by the bedroom door for 9 years now.
However, he has not been real nice to his "lil" sis, Cheyenne....he will just not allow her on the bed. If she comes up...he tells her in no uncertain terms that the bed is his =; [-(
when she came home last year...he shared everything...no problem....just not the bed!!! But, then again, Cheyenne just loves the cold floors downstairs and would rather be there.

I still can't believe how big Cinnibear has gotten!

WOW has he gotten big!!! He is so handsome!!! Absolutely beautiful chow.

BTW, Precious has always been the same way about the bed. I so badly wanted her to cuddle with me when she was little and tried and tried for years, but she would always end up off the bed and on the floor next to me!

Thanks for the responses....Now im sure its a chow thing:) I was telling my husband about how your guy's chows do the same thing with the bed, and he said all the chows he has ever had, were the same way. I think its like a protective thing. They like to sleep near the door to guard.. who knows.. But yes I belive my cinnbear could be a tad bit over weight for his age....But now that we are back home and not in hotels all the time....he will get much more exercize. :? and so will Mom!! haha

I love how, cuddely and cozy he looks in the pic. of him laying on the floor! what a cuttie,
Alan and sharron: we have 2 and thats exactly how our bigger one acts too! won't let little zeus near the bed, atleast not while it's his cuddle time!
There was a peorid of time when he refused to get off the bed until we gave him his belly rub!, ( my husband always jokes and says " come'on dani it's time to tuck the kids in")
