A companion for Lilly?

Post by pachmarhi »

We adopted Lilly a couple of months ago. She is about a year old. She has a lovely temperament. Loves being outside, her walks, chewing and yes, she chases birds and rodents (though we try to discourage that). She's great with humans and also generally with dogs, though she is a little shy and teens to leave attempts to greet other dogs until it's quite late and they are wandering off, then looking a little disappointed. At home she will spend a lot of time sleeping both inside and out. We do wonder whether she might get bored, though she certainly hasn't been destructive.

I've been wondering whether she might benefit from having a doggy companion at home. Was wondering what other people's experiences were. Lone dog or more than one?

Aw, lovely. We decided against it on this occasion. Interestingly, that would have been the colour combination. Lilly is cream coloured.
