New member with a burning question

Hi everyone,
I have a chow chow girl who is now 6 months old. I love her and her ways and since I got her at 8 weeks I've read lots of helpful posts here on this forum.
I have tried to find the answer to my question here, but without luck, or maybe I've missed it so I'll ask...
Basically since I got her she's had a tendency to shake her head and body a lot. Lately, since she got her first heat (at 5 and a half months!!!-early!!!) it's getting a lot more frequent- About 15-20 times a day. We went to the vet today and she checked her ears thoroughly, even shaving of a lot of her hair, but found nothing....
She is active and eats well.
??? I guess I'm wondering if any of your chow's "shake" ? Could it be serious?
Am I just completely overreacting? To my defence this is my first dog.
