You're all going to think I'm nuts!

Post by Victory »

But I was checking out WestTexas ChowChow Rescue's site, (I do that all the time), monday and they got a litter of five puppies in recently, they are 8 weeks old and adorable. 3 boys and 2 girls, weeeelllll I wrote Linda and asked if they still had a boy available and they do! I'm working out the logistics with her now for him...3 of the puppies are reds, 2 are cinnamons.

She wants to ship them soon and get out of a kennel situation. I'm really, really crossing my fingers and toes that we can work out the timing, with labor day coming up it makes it hard.

How exciting! I would be the last one to tell you not to do everything in your power to adopt one of those little balls of fur. :D I'm so very thrilled with my Magda - I can only hope you find as much joy with one of these babies!

I saw those puppies too and just melted. I can see why you want one! They just look wonderful! If I wasn't moving, I would help with transport. I bet if you put out a request you could get a line of people from TX to MN to help move your little guy or girl to her new home.

I'm so glad that it is you! I always worry about new chow puppies going to people that don't know chows.

Good luck and keep us posted!!!

I think you are dangerously SANE! :D
You have a lot of love to give, and he would be a blessed addition to your household... not to mention, you are notably one of the best chow parents on earth. Bring that little boy home!

Best of luck with your Lone Star quest! It will be nice if you can get a puppy, they are so special at that age. I'm surprised they are letting out of staters have them. It must be serendipity!

I heard back from Linda, he'll be here next thursday! I am so excited! And happy! Darkwind sent me this one, I know he did, cause I was thinking of Darkwind when the new boy's name came to me, Dreamdancer.

He'll be flown in, he'll be just old enough to fly.

West Texas does allow out of staters to adopt, and I got Darkwind and Firesong from them, I send them updates and pictures and stuff, so they know how they are doing. Yes I told them about Darkwinds illness and passing, so that may have helped with a puppy.

Hmmmmm, somehow I pick up that Firesong has been sending messages to Darkwind about this very pup and giving Darkwind all the credit. :shifty: How great you are Firesong. :x

I'm so happy for you. I was looking at the puppies last night and thinking I wish I had a bigger place because I could hear one of the males saying HERE I AM! They are adorable! I'm happy for you.
