How many Chowdren do you own ?

I have noticed majority of you all have at least 2 dogs. So how many dogs (doesnt need to be a Chow) do you own

We have a 10 year old Chow/ Shar Pei and a 10 month old Smooth Chow pedigree

We have 2 dogs. Hugo, my 8mnth old purebred pedigree red rough chow and Horten, my 1 yr old spoodle.

I have Chrystal and Jansue Chows, Bully,Brownie, x chows, Dixie and Rex ,Africanis Indiginous breed to South Africa, and Roxie maltese.

I think they do better in pairs, I have had two for a very long time now, about 7 years. First it was Darkwind and Firesong, now it's Firesong and Dreamdancer.

I have two dogs but am considering getting another chow that is currently in foster. For those of you who have had more than two dogs, is there a big difference between two versus three dogs?

We have always had one dog untill Winston. We got him mainly for compan for Duff (10 years) as dogs at the dog park would attack him, (wink Backup ) anyhow Duff is a much happier dog dog since Winston and a little less needy. We have a arrangment with a mate with a lab and we both dog sit each others dogs. I agree 3 dogs becomes a real handlfull and they take the pack mentality rather than then master dog relationship.

We just love seeing out two boys play and wouldnt change a thing Someone wrote their lives revolve around the dogs and I fully agree, think it was in the new owner thread i the apartment
