I just got done watching the profile on Chows...I thought I ws going to have to write a letter when they said they were a cross and not an original breed, but they went on to say they may be an OB as most of us believe. At least they didn't tell that degrading story about being primarily a food source. All in all, they did a fair assessment.

I agree, they balanced their report and showed well behaved chows. I have seen the prgram before, it is interesting to see all the pros and cons.

I have been looking for months to see the Dogs101 where they had chows.
I finally saw it. FINALLY!!
It was pretty good. I could have done much, much better, LOL! But unfortunately their segments are not 3 hours long. LOL.
I think they missed a lot of things.
But, all in all, they did ok.

Hey, I missed it. Is there anywhere online that you can watch past episodes?

I really think that I should write to them and offer to do my own Dogs 101 Chow version.
I don't understand how in every other episode they extol the virtues of the dog highlighted, but they really didn't say that much good about a chow.
I need to fix that.
Or....maybe not.
We don't want a run on chows.

last week they said that Rotweillers were the number one biters, chows second. They also didn't mention chows in the dogs with bite strength. German shepards are supposed to have the strongest. It is hard to imagine. Chows are the perfect dog, especially if you don't understand the chow and accept them for what they are. No dog is perfect, no human is either.
