Thank you all for your kind wishes for Brambles Birthday. It was a kind of bitter sweet day. My baby isn't a puppy any more and for some reason I felt really sad about that. She has turned into a very gentle and loving girl though and although those puppy days are so special being more grown up means she is more her own person, so to speak, and it is such a delight and an honour to be loved by Bramble the grown up.

Happy Birthday Bramble! I am sorry to have missed the actual day...First birthdays should last at least a week, anyhow! You are a divine Chowgirl. Tell your mum I have not forgotten about your page. I have been in a bit of a funk lately, and will rally myself to make something really special.

I keep seeing all these new chowlings here and remembering when Chutters and Mia were babies.
Oh, how I miss their cute fuzziness.
Instead of the stately walking with the head held nobely high, like now, they used to romp around like little buffoons. Always running into things, falling down to rest, instead of lying down elegantly.

Yes, they were regular toddlers. I just loved it!!

Yes absolutely - Milly was a funny little baby - she used to fall asleep in her dinner and mid-play and even fell asleep when she was getting out of her box having woken up!! She was a beautiful baby.

I wish I had been around when your two were babies. The photo you sent me was sooo cute.
