Ok guys, great pictures it looks like the first chowfest of the year was brilliant. The pictures are beautiful but how could they not be with that many chows in one place!!!!! Love them oh and the one with Kuma asleep after a hard day was adorable.

No lie, while Mari was watching the video, I honestly thought Special was Nova for the first few seconds . Nova has her tail up and she was surrounded by people (Paz+Gordo's mom, Special's mom+dad).

Kuma decides he wants to lay down next to Special and Special was completely ok with it. After the hike, they became buddies.

Doh! I knew this was a ChowFest weekend and I had to wait until today to enjoy the pictures and posts!!! It was agonizing to have to wait!
Wow! What a great ChowFest!! ALL of the Chows and their Chow parents look like they had a ggggreaaat time! I absolutely love the group shots! ChowFests are addicting!

Aw, that video was so cute!! You can hear me say "typical chow fashion" on it. They did become buddies! It was so cute.

After the walk, at one point, hubby says "feel Special's back." I did and it was all wet, I asked him whether he poured water on Spesh and hubby said, "no, Paz was playing with him and climbing on him!" I thought that was the cutest thing-- baby Paz drool. That's gott be some sort of badge of honor. I wish I'd have seen that. Of course hubby says after a while SD "har harred" at Paz ro get off.

I've got a few more pics that I managed to upload to photobucket before my disaster, so I'll try to post those. I tried yesterday for a couple of hours but my computer is on it's way out I think.

LOVELY pictures! I'm glad to see we're not the only family that pick our chows up

Millie & Alf are coming to Philly with us for Christmas, can we do a winter chowfest so they can meet all the lovely chows?

A Winter chowfest is a GREAT idea! We love the winter! We can have a bonfire, and roast marshmallows, and it'll be GREAT!

That's what we love to hear. Bonfire and marshmallows in the winter. The kidz LOVE campfires. We try to have one every weekend during spring summer and fall and at least once a month during winter. The neighbors know by now we have lost our minds. The chowkidz have an acre fenced in and a warm house(which nanook hates ) with 3 bathrooms that they would love to share with their new chow friends if needed for the winter chowfest.

The group photos are hilarious. We all look like we are desperate........for half of them Paz is trying to jump out of my arms.

Glad to hear that Nova made so much progress. As for Paz, he got over a lot of his shyness too. He used to not really let people touch him. He's still skiddish but getting better with time. As for the dog social issues, both of my furkids need some brushing up!

Katalin, I loved the notepad and the magnets. Very nice! It's hard to find chow accessories! I got to show people at work today all of the "Gordos" there. Meaning, there were a bunch of red chows that looked much like Gordo. And from the side you really can't tell who's who. They commented that they didn't realize how many obsessed people their were.

I really like the "family photos." They all turned out really great! Thanks for the great photoship! Sorry I forgot my camera----but kind of glad because my photos would look pretty lame compared with yours! How can I print them out for some scrapbooking?

I got to show people at work today all of the "Gordos" there. Meaning, there were a bunch of red chows that looked much like Gordo. And from the side you really can't tell who's who. They commented that they didn't realize how many obsessed people their were.

Mari took her camera to work today and showed her coworkers all the pics and they asked "how can you tell them apart? they all look the same!"

I'm glad you liked them. I will be uploading a bunch more pictures in a few minutes actually. After that, I'll put up the links to the high quality versions of the photos. Then you can download them, burn them on a cd and take them to a local pharmacy (walgreens/duanereade/etc) that has a DIY photo printing machine.
