OH man. That slide show is way cool. 8) It took me about 5 tries just to post pictures -- then I had to break them up. I did notice, if you click on my pictures, they will at least enlarge -- not that I did that -- it just works that way.

It's after 9:30 and I'm just now getting hungry. Good thing there's cake left over!

Part of that is practice. I spent my summer as a librarian intern and all I did was web stuff- pictures, slideshows, myspace, etc...

You are already using photobucket. Now that your pictures are in there, slideshows are a cinch! Click on the tab above your pictures that says, "make a slideshow", click on the pictures you want in it and click "create slideshow".
Photobucket is great!

Hey Patti -- hope everything is alright.

Tess belongs to Renae & Amanda's family but lives with Amanda and her parents (or did you say, Tess has become Dad's dog officially :D ?). I think if you click on the pictures (not mine) the slide show plays. Mine just get bigger.

I'm actually in withdrawal and a little sad myself today. So many unexpected behaviors from my crew -- especially seeing Sullivan running -- that was worth the price of admission alone :D :D :D. She's usually the one who is food aggressive, but for those of you not there, Gilbert got into it with someone over a real hot dog. Usually, I can stick my hand in his mouth when he's eating with no problem, but then he's never tasted a real hot dog.

Oh, and thank you so much for all the cute and great doggie treats, everyone! They all adore them. We came unprepared (we thought about it, but forgot). Next year ... if not sooner. Oh, and Debra wins the prize for the furthest distance traveled (7 hours)-- we'll have to come up with something for that! I hope you made it home OK and the Harris's for their 5 hour trek.

In May, we had a Midwest Chowfest weekend, One in Indiana on Saturday, and day 2 in Ohio. It was wonderful, but rather exhausting. Next May, I think only one location for us....I was thinking somewhere in Northern Indiana, but we shall see what everyone wants to do as the time approaches, Deb kinda hit on the biggest problem, talking about a southern chowfest that is further north. As you move locations to be more central to allow more to attend, you lose attendence of those unable or unwilling to travel. We are simply too spread out.

That does make sense (the farther the distance, the less people). I guess I just want one BIG chowfest -- like maybe we should have it in Kansas or whatever state is in the middle of the US/Canada/the world, though northwest Indiana might do until we have flying cars.

I do as well. One afternoon isn't long enough, either. We need like a Woodstock event for Chows!

Yeah, and then we can film it and get Crosby, Stills, & Nash or Joni Mitchell or whoever wrote the song to turn it into a production! :D

Actually, they had something called Woofstock here this summer. Unfortunately, it was raining and very hot (much like the original human version) so we didn't go. I vote for Spring or Fall for the weather. Or maybe I should just join a chow commune?

Glad you like them, they came out slightly better I am sure than the ones I took for you backwards. Talk about a dorky camera operator, sorry.

i am so jealous -- we missed the event !!! I am ssssoooooooo sad and is Kirby who sat like a nice little boy to get all gussiest up to meet the ladies!

I am particulary interested in an chow girl that looks just like TESS --that is what Kirby needs for a aister. I will go back to his resce mom when I am ready -- I am sure she will have a nice pretty black one that I can add to my family since she aleady knows Kirby and how he is.

you guys had a lot of fun! I missed ya all and happy birthday DEB!

Hey you guys!!!! Great chowfest!! Absolutely great slide shows!!!
It looks like you guys had a great time! Great looking park too!
Our chowdren had access to the back yard, but most of the time they wanted to be up on the deck with us!
So, we had 11 people and 13 chows on the deck at once!!
I know I sounded like a tool when you guys called...
it was a crazy moment! Everyone was headed toward "Chow Trail"....without me!!! ....hey, they all came back!!
