I missed this one too, I remember you saying that he'd need another surgery. I hope he heals fast and that his pretty brown eyes are okay after this. Poor baby.

July 21st, second day post op...

Thank you guys for hanging in there with Colonel.
Honestly, I know I've needed your support.
I'm like such a bad chow-mommy.
I'm sure he feels it's a never ending road.
Poor baby, doesn't know who to trust, seems his new parents are "cutters"?

Colonel is not scoring very high today on the
PURPLE KISS BAROMETER (PKB)!
His spirits seem very low, tired of it all, I'm sure.
Who could blame him?
He's getting a lot of "snuggle-therapy" to
help with his recovery.
We're looking for improvement on the PKB very soon!!
Again, thank you all for being such good chowfriends!
Your'e the best!

Oh, i am sorry he is not feeling better yet. He will and in no time he will forget all about these things and be the loving chow that he has been.

Ya know Butters wouldn't even come to the same room as me for 2 days after I had him fixed. So you are doing well, just not getting kisses!!! LOL

Tell the Colonel that if he wants, dad will send him a twirly thing now that his eyes are all fixed. We know you are feeling a bit down but your mommy and Daddy are doing this so you can see the twirly things better

Yoshi and Maxwell.

I think David's idea of sending Colonel a twirly thing is lovely. That will help him to get better.

We love you Colonel....get better soon!

Sherill, hang in there. Colonel will get better. He is a tough boy. And he always LOVE his mommy, sometime a tough chow boy has to keep his cool. So, he looks good in front of the ladies. Many hugs and kisses to Colonel.

Great news, I am glad the colonel is feeling better, now just resist the temption Bama of poking him in the eyes again. No one really believes that he needed 3 Entropian surgeries. Colonel if you are reading this, Next time your mom comes with two fingers outstretched in a v shape, run boy run. You can come here and live with us. We have snow and twirly things. I wouldn't bring Princess Buttercup, it seems like nothing bad happens to her, I think maybe she is in cahoots with yo momma.

David,

I can't believe you would say such a horrible thing about me. It just so happens that my mama used to poke me in the eyes like that, when I was a child. I now have terrible nightmares and go into seizures anytime someone makes the "peace" sign.
Because of the eye poking in my childhood, I am blind now. I'm typing in brail. Now, don't you feel badly about what you have said to me? Shame on you!
