Another pic of Ivana and Raloni. They had just come inside from playing and were veggin on the couch for a second. Now normally Ivana is not allowed on the furniture, but I don't think she realizes this wood stuff is a couch! Just looks like one of her beds.
Have a Chowfastic Day!!

I am having so much fun catching up on the kids and chow photos! So so so so soooooo cute!!!

I would like to add in my chowkid being attacked by a vicious creature. (not really, it's my niece and I'm fairly certain my sister would get pretty vicious with me if she ever heard me call her child that!)

This is a tame hug from my boy. He has taken to trying to fall asleep *on* her, as if he is her blanket. I think he get's uncomfortable before she does. She is just so gentle with him. Indeed, this 2 year old is much more vicious than this chow.

I loved all of the photos, especially the tea party one, and the story about Lucy. I'm glad that she got to have a great family after what she had gone through.

Hey everybody, I was searching up pictures of Chows on the net and came across this website. After looking at all your photo's I decided to share some of mine too.
Image
Image
The second picture was taken a couple months after we brought him home and the first one was taken last summer. I gave him that bear since I didn't have room for it anymore and Yogi's been coveting it for the last 2 years LOL. It's not exactly pictures with children... since we don't have kids... I was the kid when we brought Yogi home . He was a reject Christmas present that was abused so he doesn't really like people, but he doesn't attack them or anything, he just runs away. But he really liked my little baby cousin when they first met... Yogi's only older than him by 2 weeks =D.

My husband brought me the computer the other day and said look. This thread is so cute I registed because i want to share too. We just got a new computer so I don't have to many pictures on it yet but here are some older ones I have on my myspace page. I also have a funny movie of him feeding her. http://myspacetv.com/index.cfm?fuseacti ... d=22893690 What was the funniest was he didn't know I was watching to start with so I would ask him is it good and he would say "It is" Then I came around corner where he could see me and said you ate it almost all gone he goes "I did" I said well wait a second why does good girl have food on her face he says so innocent "I don't know" I'm afraid if he could all she would eat would be his food and I vowed she wouldn't eat human food when I got her. But occasionly I guess she will be ok and I know he won't be giving up the chocolate to her thats one thing he won't share.

Image
I thought I had the one of him in his bouncy seat sleeping with her beside him with her eyes closed but I must not have uploaded it. I never understood why people would say chows are mean. I've had one in my life in one way or the other since I was 4 years old and usually more than one with brothers aunts and uncles having one or two. In fact one of my brothers could add and subtract and my sister in law had him to where she could put a piece of cheese in her mouth and he would tkae the other end. Kiara is my first that I bought. We also have a Japense akita and I have a picture of her and him. She was about 17 months old and he was 5 months old in the pictures. They still get along although she does get cranky with him if she thinks there is food around.

So... we don't exactly have "kids"... our kids are our dogs.
I love this thread! It's nice to utilize this forum to show people that Chows are as mean as everything thinks. I have a collegue that said that Chows are "baby eaters". I immediately pulled this thread up and he immediately shut-up.

Nonetheless, here's my contribution of Chows and Kids...
Our Chow, Roxy and our newest addition to our family, Porsche the Pomeranian! We just got Porsche a couple of months ago and she LOVES playing with Roxy and Roxy LOVES the attention! :)
Image
...even when Porsche isn't being too nice...

As you can tell, we have a thing for fuzzy dogs. :p

This is my friend's son, Aspen, with Target again. He liked Target better than Chewy because Target is less hyper. Both dogs loved playing with and getting attention from Aspen. Aspen did ask if it was okay for him to sit on Target. Aspen is about 50 lbs. so I assume that Target and Chewy are pretty close to that big now. They are just about 9 months old.

I have collected all the photos on this site, and after really studying them to see which would fit into the layout I had made, there was only one winner. Well done Chi ching this is a really lovely photo and well deserving of this prize.

Looks to me like Chi-ching is trying to teach the baby how to shake and telling the baby its the easiest way to get treats. Boy Chi-ching is a good looking Chow, leave the hair alone no more Chi-ching the baldy.
