Puppy coat?

Titus is almost seven months old now. He still has his puppy coat. I’ve noticed over the last few days that he has patches of shiny long hair coming through his puppy coat! I wonder how long it will take for his adult coat to come in?

Puppy Coat

How long?? That depends on lots of factors,IE. what line the dog is from weather tyoe of food. I have a 13month old girl who still has lots of puppy coat. and then I have a 9 month old male who have about 1/2 & 1/2 so it depends.

My 2.5 month old girl Juice is starting to get her longer hair in too, but only around her neck. It goes about 1/3 of the way down her spine which makes her look even more like a little lion.

Grooming has alot to do with how fast it goes, but that last bit does seem to hang on til around a year.
