Chow Bites Avon lady

Post by bubba »

I must confess, the hero Chow has joined the class of Chows Who Bite
dear wife was in tears , what hapened she said , the avon lady has been coming here for years and he suddenly bites her , he is a bad dog ..

well, he did not break the skin,,
she had come in the yard when we were not around ,AND opened the front door .

then came back ..
so he grabbed her by the leg .. ooops

did not Really Bite, i saw him break a possum skull once and you better belive a Chow has one of the strongest bites ever , look at the muscle attachments , look at the moments of leverage ..

I guess next time i am there and the Avon lady arrives we better have a good introduction session ..

BUBBA , Dont bite this Lady .. She is OK>>>>

I didn't know they had Avon lady's anymore. Maybe your Chow thought the same thing and was trying to protect you from an imposter.

Kind of like the Helms bakery guy that drove around the Neighborhoods selling Cream Puffs and bread,
Or Like the Milkman that came to your door to diliver milk and your mom would tell you to go outside and play then when the milkman left you could come in again and he would be smiling when he left and give you an Ice cream. Gone and vanished, they are no more.

Can he do Jehova's Witnesses, too?

What kind of dope goes into someone's house when they aren't home? Twice?

Way to go, ChowBoy! =D=

Obviously a case of not being happy with the product. LOL but seriously, I am glad that he didn't break the skin. But what in the heck is she doing opening up the door? I hope she wasn't injured but duhhhh isn't that tresspassing. He was doing what any dog would have done but restrained himself from actually biting hard. I am sure Maxwell could easily break flesh if wanted as any chow could. I would suggest that perhaps you should lock the door so people just can't come in or.. at the very least put up a beware of dog sign so you can say,, you were warned.

No broken skin? That's not a bite, that's a gentle warning. And it was her fault for thinking she was family. She did get the "frequent guest" treatment and not the "total stranger" treatment which would have broken the skin. Chows are so smart and Gwrol was in the right.

Do you guys realize you are making a personal attack, I'm sure there are a few Mormons on this site. I use to date a Morman girl, 20 years later and I still think about her.

Change the name of the religion to religion pushing pest that way its not personal. Jehova's Witnesses thats a differant story, its ok to say that, depends on what one considers a real religion.

Oh plez you know darn well you always get off. I will get the blame anyways.

But for your benifit.

All things said are not to be taken literally, but if you are offended at my horrible jokes then please know that
these are my opinions and my opinions only and not necessarily the opinions of Jeff (who would never do anything to anger the masses)....I on the other hand am satan and deserve to be treated as such. Please post all responses of hate, anger and disapproval to me breathless.

LOL Jeff and Red....

Claudia, they still do have the Mary Kay people, but then don't have the pink cars, I met one the other day, apparently Mary Kay product is still very popular.. hahahaha

If the lady's been to the house before she should have known you have a dog and should've used her brain and NOT walked in the house randomly when there's noone there.. like duhhhh!!!!

Jeff: agree 100%, everything is smarter then people.. i work in customer service, I know...

To Michael: sorry my friend, Gwrol is not bad - the Avon lady should not have gone in through the front door! Gwrol was only doing his job! Just give the wife a hug!! :D

To everybody else: remember what I said on another thread, we are a group of every race, creed and colour!! Be very careful!

I had an adult paperboy who opened our front door one Sunday morning and tossed the paper in. I cornered him the next day and asked what he was thinking. He said, it was raining, and he wasn't afraid of my boxer, cuz they were buddies. I told him allowing to deliver a paper is different from in the home, and never do it again.

Hey, Judy. I thought it was funny. But making fun of ourselves is not funny anymore I guess.

I dunno I still think it was funny. But I removed what I wrote since someone did feel offended. I did not intend for that to be the response. It was a joke.

Then someone took it all out. That was nice. Instead of looking at my lame posts that said I removed the words. Ha.

Seriously, though if I am personally offending anyone let me know that is never my intention. Most of the time I just think it is funny. Especially something like that.

Sorry. <a href="http://plugin.smileycentral.com/http%25 ... /page.html" target="_blank"><img src="http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/36/36_1_4.gif" alt="SmileyCentral.com" border="0"><img border="0" src="http://plugin.smileycentral.com/http%25 ... e.gif"></a> Please forgive me!!!

I suppose Grabbed by the leg would be a better description.

DW was watching out the door and it upset her terribly.

Old Chyno was a famous biter , I laughed one time when we were just married and on the way to italy , lady down the street said she would take Chyno , i said Chyno could go to Italy , so the lady said she knew about chows and could handle them , so she reached down and Chyno lifted his lip showed teeth and growled, she continued to reach , guess what ? a trip to the emergency room ensued.

My self i always kinda like getting dog bit , a learning experience in dog handling...

regarding religious proslytyzers i always invite them in and try to convert them as i am pretty religious myself .. church of whats happin now..

i studed under the Famous Mormon Curseing Prophet and converted to snake handling and am in to a ghia/green man/ thing now ,
http://www.hampsteadchamber.com/A%20Sou ... gamesh.htm

if you find that lanuage offensive i will delete it

Chow waits by the gate for me every day , so now when i get home i ask him if he bite anybody.

The problem is that there are new children on the street, who have not been taught proper procedure with dogs, one is so frightened of chow she pees in her pants, the other has no fear and thinks he is a big cuddle bear and approcaches him on the run , Well it don't matter if your Chow is on a leash or in his own yard and does not break the skin, if he grabs a neighbor kid , no matter how much the child is at fault , there will be big trouble,
remember the case of the chow that bite the paper boy up north and then was sprung from death row by midnight activists,
Might not be that bad in tennesee , we are terribly backward in this state about dog-law. and rate pretty high on the list of DBRF [ dog bite related fatality] incidence / population.

http://www.cdc.gov/ncipc/duip/dogbites.htm

i have been looking for a flyer on the web that i can print out and give those children but no luck finding one that is worth a flip.

.....

all dog bites are a lesson that one can learn from , the lesson in this case .. I said this Chow did not have a bite in him , i was wrong , if it had of been one of those children been grabbed , i would be in court now or fleeing the country , looking for a hide out for the outlaw , they already put one dog down on this street for biting and in this county think nothing of shooting someone elses dog , one of my neighbors threatend to shot the hero Chow , i told him if he wanted a Feud we could get it on.

i am looking forward to the Avon Ladies next visit for a good " encounter session"

Hey, Red! I am and was not picking at you personally.
I was just, as one of the seniors here, saying to 'ALL' of us - "Let us be careful!"
There has been a lot of unpleasantness on the site lately and I don't like it.
I would hate some people to stop posting 'cos of getting upset.!!
I am a Roman Catholic and RC's have been the butt of many jokes - and I think they are funny so I can laugh at myself.

Still friends?!! :D

Talking about RC jokes, did any of you hear about the priest here on The Island who was presenting his homily one Sunday and he was telling the people about not disliking Jews. He said, "We must remember, Our Lord Himself was a Jew!"
There was a row of little old ladies sitting on the back pew and one was heard to say to the other, "I think that is disgusting, His Mother being a Catholic too!"

Sounds just like my mother-in-law, God rest her soul!!
