Want som bread?

Post by Taz »

Diego sure doesn't.

"Mum, what is it?"
Image

"Ohh, whats this?"
Image

"Is it eatable?"
Image

"Ugh, it isn't"
Image

"It didn't taste good"
Image

"Mum, Don't make me eat it"
Image

"Allright, if you insist."
Image

"It's all gone. Happy now?"

And just for the record, I didn't make him eat it. Lol.
But he made so many faces while he eat it that it looked like I forced it down his throat.

I read somewhere awhile back that's Chows love to chew on the hard ends of bread like French bread and sourdough, I have given Pekoe small piece's of hard bread a few times, she loves it. The only problem with bread is I think, not sure, it expands when wet so I wouldn't do it to much, Foods that expand in the stomach could lead to bloat.

Taz,

That is so cute and perfectly captioned. Was that as we call "day old" or hard bread? Mai Tai has big spaces between her teeth and dosen't care for alot of hard food. But maybe we'll give it a try.

As treats go, bread is low on Lily's list. She's a nibbler, and makes a huge crumby mess when she eats it. Pip won't even clean up the crumbs, and she's game for most things!

It was new bread. Don't think Diego would eat old bread, as that would be
beneath him. Lol.. Chows are so perfectly strange..

Those are great, especially that "Happy Now" one. Willow's not a bread girl either but look out if you've got milk!

Ooh, I had to laugh. My husband was bringing soup into the family room tonight as I came in and asked if I had already eaten my corn muffin. Of course I hadn't had a chance and I'd passed my Chow on the way in to the family room having some stomach reflux and washing it down from her water bowl. She's eated the corn muffin without chewing so she's get it all before we discovered it! And this was after dinner and she hung around to clean the soup bowls (minestrone). Burp.
