Bald spot on rear and tail

Hello everybody,

I have a 1 year old male Chow. His name is Charlie. 2 months ago i shaved him and now that the hair is growing again i noticied that on his rear and tail is not growing at all. I didn't take him to the vet yet. I was searching here and saw that some of you had a similar problem. Any thoughts?

I never encounter this problem. You go to the vet for the better advice..

It took some time, but his fur did grow back. I didn't use anything and the vet said it was come kind of alopecia "post grooming" (or something like "after grooming"). And it never happened again.

Edit: Actually I did use some stuff: I changed his diet and gave him Omega 3 (in capsules) and I still do; I applied some aloe and propolis extract to the bald spot for as long as I noticed the fur was growing back; and I never completely groomed him again. Took some months but the fur did grow back.
