Our rescue chow, Miah has gone on to meet her brother chow, Maxi in heaven. She was 13 years, 8 months old. When I met my husband, he already had Maxi, and I was looking to adopt a dog, but not a chow chow. After many trips to shelters in the area, Miah picked me with a kiss on the nose (and she has never been much of a kisser, since). I miss her so much. Unfortunately, my Dad passed just five days after Miah, and I don't even have her fluffy body to cry and dry my tears with.

I am so sorry. We lost our chow rescue, Loki, this summer and I know the pain you are feeling. Please take comfort in the fact you gave a rescue a second chance at life. Miah enjoyed a full life thanks to you.
I am sorry to hear about Miah and wish you strength for this difficult time.

We lost our Kringle Bear on 11/19 so we can sympathize. They are all over on the other side of the rainbow bridge having a great time, waiting for us to come home.
