Re: Dim Sum
He is gorgeous. How much time do you spend grooming him? How much does he weight? Like a lot of us our dogs, they are ambassadors for the chow breed and we must show everyone they are great dogs.
Re: Dim Sum
Thank you for the compliment! Dim Sum is about 73 lbs. I usually groom him once a week; twice if he is shedding. Plus I always have a brush and comb handy, even in the car or on walks away from home...I always want him to look his best for the adoring public.612guy wrote:He is gorgeous. Resting at the Museum of Natural History
Re: Dim Sum
Originally a Cantonese custom, dim sum is inextricably linked to the Chinese tradition of "yum cha" or drinking tea. Teahouses sprung up to accommodate weary travelers journeying along the famous Silk Road. Rural farmers, exhausted after long hours working in the fields, would also head to the local teahouse for an afternoon of tea and relaxing conversation.

Re: Dim Sum
Dim Sum is a beauty, looks like he loves to lie in the cool grass.
Re: Dim Sum
When he went through that grass last week, he flattened out an area in the same manner as when people make crop circles. LOL. He went to that same spot yesterday; it was still flattened, so he laid down there.

He looks so regal there guarding the Natural History Museum.

Dim Sum is the best protector around ...and he can flatten the grass too and we approve..Wonderful photos..
Re: Dim Sum
Thanks as always for the compliments. Too bad my phone has such a lousy camera. I wish some manufacturer would make a real compact camera with a basic phone, as opposed to a smart phone with basic camera. By real camera I mean a bigger sensor and an optical zoom lens with a wider aperture.
Re: Dim Sum
I went to the Feria de Sevilla, a flamenco dance festival in Bethesda MD. Towards the end of the day, a cooler of ice was emptied out onto the ground. Dim Sum decided to roll in the ice and then lick it.
Re: Dim Sum
I haven't been here in awhile. Dim Sum turned six years old last month. Here are a couple of photos from yesterday:
Re: Dim Sum
One of the most amazing Chows I have seen so far. Even with sun glasses he looks handsome and comfortable. Congratulation !
Best regards
