Chow finds owner after two years

I once read somewhere about a chow in japan. The story was that a family had moved 1500 miles and left the dog behind. Two years later the chow, much worse for the wear, showed up at the new home. Apparently the dog's loyalty was for a child in the family who did not have the ability change his parent's decision.

Has any one else read this account and if so do you know where I can find the source?
