@Bellachow ... they're GORGEOUS!! They remind me of our Kimba girl, especially that expression on Chumley's face. Wow!
@Kitten ... I'm glad we're getting our boys during the winter. My husband will "cut out" of the thick snow we get a place for them to do their business ... so I won't need a high fence, yet. But, come spring it'll mean some heavy training on leash walking and a zip line. Just imagine two boys at 50 lbs! Yikes! I think we'll be doing lots of sit/stay/down/halt training this winter. I can't wait!!

Chances are they will probably be bigger if they are boys... good luck like. Get a head collar for them, they work brilliantly. I just got back from a walk with lily AND alfie in his buggy... something that would have been impossible before.
Pretty little lily . Thank you sweetpea for the wonderful banner

Most dogs do not care for them at first but they usually adjust!

Lily hated hers at first. I posted a picture of her sulking with it on in my post, some new pictures of lily. They normally paw at it like crazy at first, lily did, but now she just walks along nicely and doesn't really care about having it on. Definitely give it another try

No she can't take this one off, it is a gentleman leader head collar, which is adjustable so that it can't be taken off easily. The halti ones can be taken off easily, and i am guessing this is what you probably tried.

Ohhhhhh ... .they're so gorgeous!!! I love those kinds of pictures where they're looking ... somewhere over the distance, so intent on something that we can't see. Moments like that I wanna be inside their head or read their mind. Ahhhh. Thanks for sharing.

[quote="WyattJ1"]I recently purchased a new Chow puppy almost a month ago. This is "Lilu" and she was born April 2nd, 2011.
My Tenma was born April 15, 2011!! She is also an open faced chow -- but a red. She does keep trying to play with the neighbor's cats --- but they are not interested.
