A cherub, somes bees & fried rice
I have a little cherub that sits on the base of one of my columns in my dining room. It's always been there. Last week Steve and I hear all this barking so we go into the dining room and there is Wilbur barking his head off and growling at the poor cherub and trying to jump up and get it. I take the cherub down to show him it's nothing to be concerned about and he tries to eat it! He puts its feet in his mouth like it's a soft toy. Then when I extract the cherub's feet from his mouth, he starts on its halo/crown thing. He's wants the cherub to take to his stash outside! Needless to say he didn't get it. It's amazing what causes a reaction isn't it?
Wilbur had some leftover special fried rice I made last night, definitely comes from a Chinese background, scoffed it and couldn't stop licking his bowl.
I've made Wilbur frosty paws in ice cube trays. However he doesn't lick them he just seems to swallow them whole! I gave him a couple last night and watched him. I was telling him to lick them and savor them slowly but no, straight down, wonder if his tummy felt cold afterwards?
Wilbur is being a little bit of a monster at the moment, he's just turned 7 months now, so we are off to private obedience lessons next week. It seems he's forgotten his manners at the moment. His coat is very thick and he is requiring quite a bit of brushing at the moment.
Wilbur's new favourite toy is his Hide a Bee hive. It has 3 bees that go in it, they squeak and you hide the bees in the hive and they pull them out. One of the bees has already gone to be heaven, it was discovered decapitated with severe puncture wounds to its stomach - RIP buzzy bee. Luckily I bought "spare" bees!

Oh, he is so gorgeous. We have Hide-a-Squirrel at our local chow spoiling center, but Sophie has shown no interest as yet. That bone looks good, though.

I think the cherub must be alive...we have some gnomes about the same size that Mikka used to bark at..husband says they come alive at night (hah)
Maybe it said something to Wilbur that he didn't like!

Wilbur, your red coat looks soooo soft! Your mom must be doing wonders with the brushing...

I LOVE CHOW FEET!
Wilbur is so handsome, especially in the bone munching pics. And good job on the brushing, Sabina! No pain, no gain, right?
