Fantastic news Linda. They even ate together? Must be the perfect match!

yep, they had a snackie and L. went to sleep on her beddie in the bathroom. Kubbi couldn't stand it any longer & went to investigate- she did a little yip and a gentle snap at him- he was very submissive and fled! We will bundle her up and go for walkies soon. Oh, and i hand feed the wittle Princess out of her bowl, she really doesn't know she has teeth! I think they will be fine together.

Linda and her new love
I know I promised pictures, but the temps were in the teens with a high wind in Indiana... these are the only two I took where we didn't have a death grimace on our faces. Actually a blessing in disguise, I didn't have time to get all teary, the tears would have frozen if I did. I think Miss L was the only one who didn't object to the weather, nekkid butt and all. Thanks to Linda and Gary, and everyone who helped make this a successful rescue! Karen, I think you can mark this thread, "ADOPTED".

Ahhhhh, thanks for the pictures Sandy. Good to see Miss L in a new home
Thank you Elodie!

Word to the wise, Layla... always plan your pick up and drop off points at Petsmart! I'm so sorry I didn't get more pictures, I wanted pictures of Sampson and Lynn, too, but same weather in L'ville. Linda emailed me today telling me when Gary picked up and cuddled Miss L like a baby (as her former male owner supposedly did) she wagged her tail in delight. That's the picture I would love to see, as that was something I couldn't give her that I know she loves.
BTW, thanks to Linda, Gary and Lynn for not laughing at me. Susan and I stopped by Cracker Barrel for a quick potty break after, and I burst out laughing when I saw myself in the mirror. Hair standing straight on end, nose beet red, toothpaste smudge in the corner of my mouth, covered in white chow fuzz... sometimes rescue is not pretty.

Sandy,
Sophie said you got up in the wee hours I believe so it's no wonder you managed to leave with a toothpaste smudge. And I think you still are beautiful for caring for LaKota and Sampson. God bless you for helping LaKota find her place in this world. And for helping Sampson get to his rescue, as well.

I am happy for Lakota. Great pics. I love L.'s chubby pawsies, cute. Beautiful sweater. I am glad to read the mission is accomplished and went well.

Linda had trouble uploading here, but sent me this beautiful picture of Miss L and her gorgeous Kubbi together. He is one hunka hunka burning chow love, no wonder the the first thing Linda said when she saw her was, "She's so little!"

More like 'Chunka Chunka' lol He's on a diet. They get along with each other like they have been together for years. Little girl's house manners are very good; she spends a lot of time just laying in her beddie. Now we just need a fitting name.
