My lawn

Post by Rowlee »

These are a couple of pictures of my side lawn that I took a couple of evenings ago. I would like to point out that in this area of only approximately 2.5 square meters there were the following:

3 slippers, 1 pair, 1 odd.
1 shoe
2 sticks (small)
3 balls (2 tennis, one wiggly giggly)
2 bones
rope toy
Buzzy bee toy

This is what Steve and I walk outside to find regularly (we call it Beirut!). Wilbur sneaks into our wardrobe and steals shoes and slippers (because silly mummy forgets to close the door sometimes). When we are laying on the couches watching TV, we hear his claws clicking on the tiles and he comes running out of the bedroom flat out, with his ears back, heading towards the door with a shoe, slipper or item of clothing in his mouth.

He is an absolute little hoarder. he puts them in piles and whenever you try to take anything, watch out!!

Ming has already started, all his toys and anything else of importance (flip flops are REAL important, have to be kept in the family room. If we take them anywhere else he promptly takes them to his stash.

I love it! I have taught the dogs that their toys aren't allowed outside anymore after I discovered Ginger sharing her toys with the dog next door. They decapitated her favorite monkey trying to get him through the chainlink fence holes.

It probably wouldn't be as funny when puppyhood runs out..which it will and the slippers and things will remain where they should be..............but it sure is funny!!

lol, in the spring once the snow melts I always find about 50 toys that were covered up. Good thing I have a huge supply of toys.

 That's too cute! Tippsy won't touch toys so I have to get the enjoyment of seeing chowlings playing with their's on here. :? The only thing Tippsy will play with now is a stick. I do wish she still played soccor with me but that ended when she stopped playing with toys... Oh well, Wilbur is really cute playing with all "his" treasures.

Toys

Post by Mally »

Ha HA HA...Tha's so funny and cute. Yep Lychee probably takes after her older bro with hoarding of toys! She takes everything outside. When I give her some chicken bones she will scoop it up then look at me like I'm just about to take it from her and eat it! She will then take it outside and eat it there! Naughty mummy trying to steal poor baby's food

Her favourite game lately is to take my slippers from the back door and put them on the patio door and vice versa

How funny!
Looks like Wilbur is standing on that slipper saying, "it's MINE, and I dare you to try and take it from me..."

Jasmine will pile and hoard her toys (thankfully never had the problem with clothes/shoes).
When we have a doggie guest staying with us she will pile her toys up and lay on them or near them and not share.
