I miss my babies! I am stuck in Vegas (which is not all it's cracked up to be) with hubby at a conference and I want to go home!! Vacations w/out the chowkids suck! Just thought I would whine somewhere people will understand. 2 more days...sighhhhh.

Buuuuut, you get to eat at In n Out Burgers while you're there!!! I miss living in Vegas...sometimes.

It is hard, but you can do it! Where are you staying? What's your favorite game?

We went in October and had a good time. We did eat some good food at Emeril's and Wolfgang's. But I did call and check on Butters everyday!!

staying at NYNY...not a gambler but because there is nothing else to do here i have been playing slots a little. very addicitve and i keep thinking that is money i could be giving to a rescue/shelter. go to shows/drink/gamble...expensive place to vacation. wish i could win big because the shelter where 012 chow is ('lucky' is his temp name) is in dire straights...they need dog food! wish me luck...hehe. would be wonderful to give them a grand or two when i go pick him up to take him to his forever home with Sheila.

Oh yeah! When I went 3 years ago, I had very good luck at Black Jack. I like craps, too...and Texas Hold em. It took me a long time to actually play hold em live, but it was very lucrative when I finally got the nerve to do it! I don't like slots. My first time at a casino, I was too intimidated to sit at a table with a dealer! Now, it is nothing. And NO- I don't gamble much. I go once or twice a year to the indian casinos around here, and take $50- $100 with me at the most. I was in Vegas 10 days, and budgeted $50 a day, but didn't need to dip into the kitty after the first day... . Oh, and try the Hilton buffet, very good and not too pricey!

LOL...right! Thought they were getting a hayseed, and got a Huck Seed instead. For those that don't know, Huck Seed is a pro poker player, and his name really is Huckleberry Seed. Now those are some twisted parents, naming their kid Huckleberry!

Hey, go ride the roller coaster!!! We did, we went there on business and like you neither of us are much on gambling so we had to do something LOL!!! The shows are great though.....we stayed at the Pink Flamingo or something like that. Even trying not to gamble we came home $900.00 in the hole.......Darn I could of had a diamond
