meet and greet, Yoshi and Maxine

Good morning, Well our meet and greet was sucessful. Yoshi saw Maxine and made a beeline for her, Maxine did the same. they sniffed a bit, walked, sniffed and walked. We went for a 2 mile walk and when they wanted to be together we stopped and continued walking when they got bored of eachother. Maxine acutally jumped on Yoshi several times which Yoshi did not like, no growlies, he just moved away to avoid her which was shocking. This afternoon we will do another meet and greet and hopefully then take them off leash and let them play with each other. But so far so good.

Those pictures remind me so much of JRand Cheyenne meeting for the 1st time.

Her laying on her back speaks volumes to me. She will fit in nicely to your family. As Larry and Terrina will likely confirm, she is accomodating. She is full of fun and fancy free, but she also does not wish to offend. She is basically saying check me out, I am not here to take over. Then, she is playing and showing her fun potential. When she did over-step, in Lord Haw-Haw's mind, it was just that Princess Maxine did not yet know the protocol of his play, and not a threatening thing. She already convinced him she would go by his rules. Also, the leads actually add to stress, so it can only be better off lead. Wonderful, for all of you.

I'm glad things went well! Annie did the same thing to Buddha when they met, and did it several times afterwards, and Buddha reacted the exact same way.

Second meet and greet when well, afterword we left them off leash and they did well, Maxine ran circles around the Yoshi monster, he just sat and watched her waiting for the next attack. I shot 2 videos but they are too big for photobucket, here are some stills
