We are happy to announce this year's ChowFest will take place in the most dog friendly city in the USA, the city by the bay,
SAN FRANCISCO!

For those who replied "YES" or "I hope so" on the poll, please PM your private e-mail address to a member of the ChowFest 2008 Northern California Steering Committee. We are in the pre-plan mode. Providing us with your private e-mail address will allow us to corresspond with you directly when plans for the ChowFest have been determined, as well as provide you with the specifics. Also, if you would like to be a member of the Steering Committee or volunteer during the actual event, please PM one of us.

Miss Pooh Bear says we are not to miss the social event of the year!!! Miss PB, Tigger and mommy will be definitely be there! Three of Tigger's siblings and their bipeds are planning to come. He has not heard from the other two yet. Anyways as Kodi say's WEEEEE!!

I put us down as an "I hope so". Barring any required sporting events that weekend for my daughter, we will be there. That would be at least two (maybe three) chows and three people. There are very few things that could keep us away from Chowfest!

YEAH!!! I love Chowfest time - this will be all our third time! Thanks so much for the PM! Troy de Allergy Boy (AKA Bad Boy) has been keepin' me truly TOO busy this year! But I will be there regardless! So, you can count me and my 2 chowdren in for the trip from Sacramento! I really look forward to seeing everyone and the newbies as well and maybe this time I'll break a record and come early and not forget to bring a camera!

We can always use a helping hand with people having more than one Chow - oh, hmmm - like me!

When you say take care of, I must assume you mean "service." Mikka was very service-oriented, it was always my job to make sure she had enough cookies, snacks, and entertainment when we were away from home. At home it was my job to attend to her every need, open the door to go out (although there was a dog door, she didn't like to use it), open the door to come in, hand out the cookies, give her 1/2 of my dinner if it involved chicken, beef, pork, etc, prepare special chow dinner such as Rocky chicken with fresh garlic and Braag, free range livers (marinated and cooked on the barbeque, of course), etc.

So, yes, I'll look forward to being "chow-servicer" for the day but I'm not bringing any special chow dinners!

Don't worry Mikkabear, I have extras. I even have one you can take home as a Chowfest party favor. I am sure our cat would be very happy if I left with three and only came back with two.

The restriction of having glass containers limits the quality of beverages
Last year we had some very tasty sangria made by Zhuyo's mom! Yumm!!!
