Brushing my puppy

Post by Miniredlion »

Hi there,
Bella is 8 weeks old and loves it when I brush her back and her belly.

However, she will not let me brush near her genitals, her bum or her chin. I try convincing her with training and praise and I take my time but I'm concern as the hair in that area is now starting to look tangled.
Does anyone have any advice that can help with this. I don't want her to be in pain or for her hair to become matted.

I have tried using sensitive doggy wipes in the area in the hopes if it was cleaner it would be easier to brush. She doesn't mind the wipes but as soon as I use the brush she fusses and won't let me near

Thanks for any advice you can give.

found that if you can use de-tangling spray or lotion in the difficult areas
this hill help prevent matting and aid when attempting to brush, allows the brush or comb to glide thru with ease

imaging someone grabbing or pulling at your fur by your genital, just the thought, ouch!!!

Doggo-scaping is the other alternative, keep the trimmed short and tidy.
Then there no fuss nor messy muss.
Mens beard shave works really, adjustable guard, small and works great in close/tight areas, and typically cheap and portable

Hellowww everyone,
My pup shedding hair when I brush him.
Does it depends on their food or grooming products?
Someone suggest me homemade food with some fresh food box like nomnomnow.
