Black Skin Chow Chow?
Hi Everyone! First time Chow Chow owner here : )
I was wondering is it normal/healthy for Chow Chows to have black skin? All the dogs I've owned in the past have had light pink skin, regardless of hair color. Paddington is a brown chow with hints of black in her coat.
I'm worried because I see on google that black skin is associated with alopecia, black skin disease, or thyroid problems.
For what it's worth, Paddington's tummy has always been black ever since I brought her home when she was a pup. Is alopecia, thyroid problems, etc. something I should be worried about?
Thanks in advance, everyone!

Re: Black Skin Chow Chow?
Chows do have black skin, black mouth and black tongue, all normal, don't worry, be happy.
No matter where you go, there you are.
