My first question: is chowchowexpert your new alias? I see you signed in further down through this posting as redangie24. I’m confused :? – but then sometimes it doesn’t take much to confuse me hehe

Either way/name Hi there Welcome to the “neighborhood”

lol Nope I just got confused for a sec. I am def not chowchowexpert. I don't think anyone can ever really be an expert on chows they are all different and individuals.

I'm a newbie but I know chows

Post by Chow master »

Hey guys/gals

Hey well this is my second post I did have another account but unfortunately it locked me out. It was chowchowexpert. So I started this one. So welcome me. Be my friends and foes and I shall help with your chow problems. I'll tell you a bit about myself I currently own a welsh corgi she has an extremely loud bark and is very friendly. But I have one problem I am like 5'7 and she is only so far of the grownd so I know that chows are like medium sized dogs and stuff. Also they are soooo stubern and so am I which makes us a good fit because I will sit there and wait untill they do what I need. So they truly are a perfect match for me.

Ok well first off I am not an expert or anything although I do know a lot about the breed seeing I'm only like 14. Hehe. Hopefully no creeps are on this site!!! I have had 2 chows ever since I was born and I am in love with the breed! I am currently trying to talk my parents into letting me get another but it is really hard, I even offered to pay for everything except for the vet bills. Lol I'm not that rich. So wish me luck.

I do have one question. My parents always say that our insurance will not allow us to get one. So what do I do? What did you do? How can I still have home owners insurance and still get my furry buddy?

Thanks for the help

WELCOME to the site! Glad you came back.

Can you tell me what your screen says when you log on as chowchowexpert? You should not have been locked out.

Maybe they would be open to having you foster a chow? The rescue usually pays for the food and vet care. Good Luck!

You have to shop around for insurance. There are some that allow chows and others with no breed restrictions. It is just a bit of leg work to find them. Good luck.

Ok well thanks for the replys. And for zuayos mom, it just says that the account Connor be found please re-enter your info. So I don't know what's going on but it's ok cuz now I have the chow master account. And so I might try again and see if I have any luck. Oh I wish I could post pictures but my computer crashed and it might be awhile before its fixed so I will just use my phone to keep you guys in the loop.

Your parents would have to find an insurance company that either doesn't have chows on "the list" or one who doesn't have a list at all. My parents have State Farm, which doesn't have a list of banned breeds (which would be why we have a chow mix, a GSD(maybe chow) mix, and a pitbull mix; plus we were with them when we had our past 2 chows as well).
