Temporary loss of appetite for a day or two in dogs is nothing to be alarmed at. However, prolonged appetite loss is usually caused by some underlying health problems.

Probably your dog since that your not expending to much time with him and he acted like that every time you go again from work. His alone and no one is around so it's not healthy for him.

The average temperature range for most dogs is from 100 to 102.5 degree Foreign Height or (38 to 39 degree Celsius). I just don't know how exactly a chow chow's Average Temperature would be..

I suggest during your free day visit some house of your relative and let them walk your chow, in that way he well nice to your family member. You have to train your dog and tell him his not doing right.

I think most of the dog well freak out on the first day, they are not use to it so you have to be patient and try to introduce it lil by lil until they are use to the grooming.

A dog's eyes will tell you a great deal regardless of breed. Some people claim they can't read a Chow's eyes but with practice, it's as easy as with any other breed.

I would say a harness is better because it causes less damage to the throat and doesn't cut off air.

Well, crate train your puppy. It helps in the potty training. Teach your puppy to "come" by giving a treat. Teach"no" by using a loud voice. We use "no bark" and "take a pee" which they have learned to do on command. Take obedience class, they are a good start...
