I am so sorry for your loss... it is so heartbreaking, poor Cinder, my deepest sympathies.

Coco never got her nails clipped as she walks a lot in the city and her nails are always short.
I'm happy about it as i wouldn't like to clip them myself, I'd be too affraid they'd bleed and I think I would ask her vet to do it for me.

I understand your vets may not be the best kind, but a blood test is easy to perform, and after that, the vet does not analyse the sample himself, it has to be analysed in a special laboratory and the laboratory sends the results. Have you ever considered that Barby might be allergic to something else than food too? There are many things a dog can be allergic to, not only food, but plants, herbs, acarids, etc....
You could find out with a simple blood test, and then she could be desensitized (like Coco is).

As I said earlier in this topic, Royal Canin is not a good food. When Coco was eating it, she made poops 3 times bigger than now, just to give you an idea of all the crappy useless feelers they make their food with!

Chutty you are one BIG beautiful chow baby (you'll always be a chow baby for me).
