We are planning on giving him plenty of time to get stronger before he has anything else done. The vet that treated him just suggested that before we let him go to a forever home that we get his shots again. At least he is over the first hurdle.

I agree with evryone that if it has been more then 24 hours since her surgery and she is having problems getting up I would call the vet. Did they do blood work before she had surgery? At that age they should have done one before sedating her.
