If you go to the SG website they have a "Find A Store" function that should help you locate a source.

Poison Ivy

If you read my post post about Solo being an escape artist and the fence you may have caught the part about some poison ivy over by where he gets out. Well I don't know if it was there or some place where he ran off too while out, or even if it was Solo but I got a nasty case on Poison Ivy from one ...

Glad to hear that you guys are doing well. I was just thinking of you guys the other day and wondered how it all turned out. But I thought you were going to name him "Cracker"?, lol. Either way I am glad that he is healthy again and part of a happy family. He looks awesome btw, very nice c...

Re: Solo the Escape Artist

Weird thing happened after my last post. I went to get my oil change and was talking to the folks at the repair shop (owners wife has a Golden Ret. who often is up there at the shop) and mentioned my problem. A tech was listening and remarked somebody they knew had tried the invisible fence and had ...

Re: Solo the Escape Artist

#-o Just came in from getting him back in the yard again ......and he just thinks it's funny as all get out. Problem is the whole fence line is really crappy, years of gardening by the former resident of that property has eroded their lot down a solid foot, and they already are on the low side of a ...

Solo the Escape Artist

I have been having this problem for a few months now. Solo has found out at last that one side of my yards fence line has low spots. Basically it is my neighbors fence, as are all the fences surrounding my yard, that is to say that I do not own any of the fence that surround my property. They were p...

Re: New ProPlan coming out....

Solid Gold isn't sprayed with chicken fat so it doesn't smell like others they have had. Mine ate it but Solo had some serious farts. I tried California Natural for a while and the noxious fumes still kept coming. Plus with 3, there is always a power play over un-eaten dry kibble left in the bowl an...

Wow, I can't believe it has already been a year. She has come a long way from being tied up to a radiator in some jerkwads backyard to her home with you now. Always makes me smile to see her pic in your sig. :D

I use the Dogswell line of treats, they are made in china, but are sold at Whole Foods so I give them the benefit of the doubt. I also have good responses with some thing called Sea Cucumber treats also sold at Whole Foods. Everything else gets the upturned snoot.....

Re: Poor chow at the pound :(

If you read carefully, you will see that the chow already has a home, if only the shelter will release him to Olga. Is there some way you can help with this, Sam? :? *Laugh* When has he ever helped a Chow in need? And btw Sam, my name is spelled Sean, tyvm. Olga-you need to go up there with a bag of...

Re: the best vacuum??

I have a friend here in Atl that I knew in college. He sold Filter Queen vacs and I sold Electrolux so we always had this sort of rivalry. Now he has two children and a house with very light carpet, not white but close. For years he went the steam cleaning route to get up all that spilled chocolate ...

Re: the best vacuum??

If you are happy with your vacuum then I still suggest getting the Floor Pro shampooer. First time users are often disgusted by what this will bring out of their carpet. Especially after letting them vacuum with their own vacuum. Also take a look at what your vac is pulling up and see how much carpe...

Re: the best vacuum??

Electrolux. (now by Aerus) The cannister is more powerful than the upright model but also more expensive. If you visit your nearest Aerus store you can buy a reconditioned one for 1/4 the price of a new one. Besides the performance, they can be serviced by same store over and over forever. That mean...

Re: As The Chow World Turns....

Just for the record I'd like to note that I have managed to keep out of the last ten flame-fests despite my obvious feelings on the subject. (thats a anti-breeder/pro-rescue one for those who don't know me). If their are any breeders out there (USA) who aren't suffering from a FULL BLOWN God-like/n...

Re: Terrible News, Onyx passed away tonight

It never gets any easier to hear that one has passed away, especially one that made it out of the system, only to fall to bloat. Either way you gave her the only real life she ever knew, and probably the only love she ever knew as well. I am sorry for Connor as well, it is a tough lesson to learn so...

Re: Chow Ownership Question

I of course voted Rescue. If you love Chows as much as you say you do I don't see how it's even a question of what to do. But hey, thats just me. So many Chows being killed every day, the rest rotting away until they get dragged off to their death. There is no guarantee with a puppy that you won't h...

I'd spell it all out for you Sam, but your narcissistic god complex that comes with the type of personality that it takes to peddle flesh blocks the neurotransmitters that would actually allow you to care.

SSDD

Nothing will ever change, it will only get worse for Chows in general... and I don't think that even if we were swimming in a sea of dead Chows would the offenders even then understand what the rest of us are so upset about.

Re: Breeders, puppy mills and testing labs

You're talking overpopulation, I was talking chow breed only. I have no idea nor do I care about the rest of the world. Nice. This thread was about all dogs in general and the grisly fate that befalls many, not just Chows only. You might have a shortage in France, of both dogs and Chows, I don't kn...
