Hey guys. I just read about Lily laughing! That is too cute! Fidel talks back. If I look at him and say "What?" He will let out this strange barkish sound. Just like a kid talking back. He does it all the time. He also knows what our car door sounds like even before the alarm is turned on....

I thought that it didn't matter. My sister argued with me cause I got a black chow. Why not a red? she said. I said that I got Fidel because he was beautiful and had a great temperment. She just gave me that whatever look...lol

I was told that black/blue chows are more aggressive than the red/cinnamon chows. Any thoughts on this?


PS: Fidel looks sooo pretty wish I could get a pic. I gave him his first bath with the dark shampoo stuff. Makes him shine and very soft! No more for a month!! lol

This harness is sooooo easy to put on. You just pull it open and slip it over head then put legs in. Very simple.

This is the shampoo......it is Groomax Black Velvet Shampoo for dark colored or black dogs. Just curious as to if it is worth it. Does it make a difference?

Hey all, Fidel is now able to go up AND down the stairs! I am right next to him the entire time. He decided that he is too good to stay in the front yard to do his deed, so we are having a ruff (pun intended) time getting him to stay with us. Leash and collar time! His leg is sooo much better! Only two more weeks and his splint should be off. He acts like nothing is wrong!

Today he nipped at my leg and I told him VERY firmly NO! HE looked at me with those sad puppy eyes and walked to a corner and sat down. He wouldn't come back over to me until I kneeled down and baby talked him. lol. Just like a child.

Fidel's ears are erect, but half-way droopy. Kinda hope that he grows out of that as I want to show him
