Re: Our Chow Chow bit my dad, what do i do? Help please!
Sorry for the typos, its difficult to type and post from my phone. All in all you should consult with a behaviorist or dog trainer who uses positive reinforcement and not dominance theory (which is what Caesar Millan uses). I'm going to touch on a few different things so I'll just break it down, :) Goals: what is your worst case scenario but that you can still be okay with? My worst case scenario is crating my dogs everytime there is a stranger or children over and I'm okay with that. What would be ideal behaviour on C...

Clicker training, multiple dogs, impromptu training...
I know the title sounds a little vague, but I didn't know how to put all of this in one question. My dogs tend to bark at people walking by or coming to the home. I really need this to stop because I'm having some work done in the garage and they will drive me up the wall with their barking (plus, i...

Let me know how it goes though! I loved the ingredient list and it looked like really great stuff. When I bought it the cashier wa...

http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a154/KatzPomDogz/TeaPartyPup1.jpg Aww! How cute! I saw this and instantly I wanted to wave it in the face of all those that bash Chow Chows for being aggressive! "Oh yeah, Chow Chows are mean alright! Look at this picture here, yeah, that's the face of pure EV...

Re: Chows and snow
Haha, how cute! Kind of reminds me of my Chow mutt. The first snow fell yesterday (and in NH, USA, it's a tad late) she loved it though. I was watching TV when I jumped up "Oh no! I forgot Cameron outside! Oh I hope she isn't freezing!" I looked out the window and had to burst out laughing...
