I have read that Red Chows are born with Black muzzles and Cinnamons are born with Gray muzzles. Also that coat colors can change as they get older. They could be born cream and change to red or cinnamon etc.

I have noticed some Reputable Breeders now advertizing on Puppyfind.com however be careful. I think the price has nothing to do with the quailty...for one because if you are looking for a pet then you dont want to pay 1,500-2,000 and up for a show quailty Chow. They have good chows for 800-900 that ...

I have read that Chows are very independent. They think they can take care of themselves and thats why they run away if off leash. I personally will not let mine off his leash ever!! ( when i get him)

I have heard that Chows dont need as much bathing as other breeds.. It dries out their skin, some Chows have skin problems, I really think its from too much bathing also diet. Unscented Baby wipes are great for the bum and around the eyes.

From what I have read Chow puppies do go through stages when they are fearfull. I think she will be fine she is just growing up.
