I too use a baby gate with Belle when she is in time-out or if people she doesnt like comes over. She never tries to cross but is the rare barker & will let me know her displeasure at being behind the gate. I outsmarted her by putting a small blanket over the gate...out of sight, out of mind. \:D/

You have to attack this as you would any disease. Once you have the results then make a plan to save her by any means necessary. If she loses her sight then she can still live a full life. With Bella & Chumley I use Heartguard chewables monthly & Frontline Plus topical. I have found that I dont have a problem reaching their skin with the frontline if I take the grooming brush and use it to brush back the hair then apply the stuff to their skin.
