Re: Wanting to feed raw, but little helpless

Feeding raw means feeding a multitude of meat and not just chicken. In fact, if you live in the USA, chicken is one of the most inflammatory meats you can possibly give to a dog ( or a person), and is best left on the shelf more often than not.. Absolutely, why don't you try other meats than chicken...

I also think it's allergies. Please,do have him check for allergies. It's frustrating seeing your beloved itching nonstop. He's totally a charmer, and I hope he'll get better soon!

Re: Chow chows in South Carolina!

Socializing doesn't happen overnight. Your Chow needs to be included in your activities daily. If you neglect to include your Chow in outings or family gatherings, he may regress. You must be responsible for the total socialization of your Chow. This is the only way to have a reliable, friendly, per...

That's what happens when a person don't know the dog well, they often misunderstood the dog. You should go back there and persuade that vet.

Re: Crate training

Crate training can take days or weeks, depending on your dog's age, temperament and past experiences. It's important to keep two things in mind while crate training: The crate should always be associated with something pleasant.Training should take place in a series of small steps. Don't go too fast.
