Chows are just like everything else in our lives...no guarantees!!
And I totally agree with everything else everyone wrote after me.

Go back to the store and let that beautiful little red boy enjoy the kind of home he deserves.

I got my 1st chow from a pet store...went to buy a 39c algea eater for the fish tank and there was my beautiful MO. They were going to send him to the pound or just put him down...he was 4 months old and I am pretty sure that he was a product of a puppy mill. How could I leave the poor baby there? I...

I haven't had much o a chance to visit lately...I sure miss looking at all of the gorgeous chowlets. Again, I am back to the photo "thing" All of the pics that accompany the replies etc. Are you all still sending them through the photo sites? The ones that I have uploaded to my discussions...

But I must say that JR is listening much better now that he is getting older {he is 8 1/2} and Cheyenne has learned to sit and is even starting to listen {she has only been with us for 8 wee...

What a chuckle Alan and I have had with your stories.
Everyone one of them reminds me of getting my 1st chow....and my 2nd chow and now our 3rd chow.
I can't imagine life without chow chow antics and chow chow love!

I never seem to catch the chows on any of the dog shows.

And yes, I am glad they don't win and gain popularity again for the same reason as above....no more chow puppy mills!

Our Chows, JR and Cheyenne think that snow...the deeper the better ...is the best thing ever. JR, rols and rolls and rolls in it. This is absolutely a Chow thing!!!
My 1st Chow loved foot licking...my 2nd Chow loves foot licking...our 3rd Chow...well, she was just rescued and is getting used to having a a real home and real people to love her...so we don't know yet! we will update later.

Her fur is finally starting to grow in and is all fuzzy now!

All of these beautiful Chows.....what a treat! They are all so loved and taken care of. Kudo's to all of the rescue owners. They are wonderful.
