pet store chow
Here I am again! I just read the other posts.
Chows are just like everything else in our lives...no guarantees!!
And I totally agree with everything else everyone wrote after me.
Go back to the store and let that beautiful little red boy enjoy the kind of home he deserves.

chow search
I got my 1st chow from a pet store...went to buy a 39c algea eater for the fish tank and there was my beautiful MO. They were going to send him to the pound or just put him down...he was 4 months old and I am pretty sure that he was a product of a puppy mill. How could I leave the poor baby there? I...

Oh...he is so precious, precious and more precious! I can just see our 2 chow bodies doing this at their age. But I must say that JR is listening much better now that he is getting older {he is 8 1/2} and Cheyenne has learned to sit and is even starting to listen {she has only been with us for 8 wee...

what great stories
What a chuckle Alan and I have had with your stories.
Everyone one of them reminds me of getting my 1st chow....and my 2nd chow and now our 3rd chow.
I can't imagine life without chow chow antics and chow chow love!

what wonderful looking dogs
I never seem to catch the chows on any of the dog shows.
Thanks for the video.....wern't they just so gorgeous!
And yes, I am glad they don't win and gain popularity again for the same reason as above....no more chow puppy mills!

Snow
Our Chows, JR and Cheyenne think that snow...the deeper the better ...is the best thing ever. JR, rols and rolls and rolls in it. Cheyenne digs her nose in so deepthat all you see is her stubby, thick headless boddy. Living in Northeast Ohio gives up plenty of snow all winter...especially the lake E...

chow training
Since my 1st rescue chow, 13yrs ago, was my 1st dog I had no idea that they wern't "normal" dogs and we went to school. What a disaster...just awful. I guess that we flunked ...but they did give him a certificate to get him to leave and never come back. But I did learn that I had to show h...

2 chows
Our JR is 8 1/2 and we talked about getting another Chow for awhile. I wanted one, yet I didn't for all of the same reasons....2x as much work. Well....I came home from work 7 weeks or so ago and there was an adorable red face at the door instead of the normal black one. I was upset...Alan had gone ...

the "dead" bull
Poor JR....he has been dragging around this pitiful looking stuffed blue "bull" for 8 years now. Actually his bull was a stuffed rhino...who just happened to be labeled bull. It stinks and is dirty...but I wouldn't have dared to wash it...it is his big time security and all he ever did was...

Everyone stops us always to comment what beautiful bearlike creatures we have. Then they ask....THE QUESTION.....what are they? They are gorgeous Chow Chows of course...and of course we always have to listen to somebody who knew somebody else that was bitten by a Chow...and how mean they are. So har...

our gorgeous chows
Judy, Alan can be very "blessable".....he was the one that went to the city pound since he found Cheyenne on petfinders and she looked so very sad and at her age was not very adoptable at 3 1/2 yrs old and a chow to boot! I, Sharon, found JR 8 yrs ago also at the city pound after losing my...

chow chows
All of these beautiful Chows.....what a treat! They are all so loved and taken care of. Kudo's to all of the rescue owners. They are wonderful. Our Chows are so misunderstood by people who do not know that they are such phenomonal creatures! http://img2.glowfoto.com/images/2006/01/21-0951307186T.jpg...

What a beautiful Chow Chow babies! Those feet....I just love Chow feet...they are so adorable...plump and almost clumsy looking. 14 years ago, my first Chow, Motzart, was an adorable 4 month old ball of soft red fur. JR, my current black Chow was almost 8 months old and was the cutest toddler. Cheye...
