Denali and I would have conversations as well it was quite interesting, no other dog to this day has communicated like that with me

5 months is definitely young enough to get a handle on inappropriate behavior, find some good trainers/behaviorists in your area, keep us updated

did you find a breeder?

a well bred dog is very predictable , it is the mixes and backyard breeding that become less predictable, bite inhibition is part genetic and part mother/sibling taught

if you have a need to know check out embark or darwins ark and get a dna test

3 days is not a long time, Sorry you are having issues , How old is Bear? are you able to muzzle him? food aggression/resource guarding can be worked with .
