I think you will find that your Chow will protect and give his life for your son if that situation ever arose. I wouldn't worry for a minute. Actually, you've made an excellent choice in a dog that will stop at nothing to protect your boy.

It's always such a horrible shock to take your Chow kid to the vet and find out the worst news. That's what happened with Berkley, and he died right there. I'm so sorry to hear about Jade. I know how painful this time is, and will, be. It never seems to matter how much time passes...we never forget ...

When I had Berks'e eyes done, he just plain FELT a lot better. Entropian can be very painful and our Chows (dogs) can withstand a lot. But, when we solve the pain, they're like new souls. This is just great news!

Berkley is coming home from the crematorium tomorrow. It's as if the wound opens all over again.
